Cachoeira do Tabuleiro
07-10-2025
Located in the Serra do Espinhaço, in the heart of the Tabuleiro Municipal Natural Park, the Cachoeira do Tabuleiro is the highest waterfall in the state of Minas Gerais and the third largest in Brazil. With its 273 meters of free fall, it impresses with the majesty of its rock face, sculpted by time and water.
In the upper part, several small falls and lagoons follow one another, while at the base, a vast basin about 18 meters deep extends between huge blocks of stone. The place, still preserved, offers a grandiose spectacle: a balance between strength and serenity, where the nature of Minas reveals all its beauty.
