Stand Up Paddle - Sunrise

Waking up with the sun's rays in the window, watching the birds and marveling at the monkeys jumping in the tops of the trees, having breakfast with a view of the forest here at Casa São Conrado: what a privilege! Everything your mind needed! But a beautiful sunny day deserves a walk and, despite Casa São Conrado being a delight, let's go to Copacabana! There is a kiosk that rents Stand Up Boards and you couldn't have a better start in discovering the wonders of the city!

There are some days when all we need is to feel a little closer to paradise. Work, demands, family, everything is aside, and here I am, with my board and my paddle, I row until I am far from the beach, and there I only hear the music of the waves. This water is ideal for diving, and although it is a bit cold, it brings a special energy. I'm at the beach, on a board and paddling slowly, with no destination, or rather, already being where I want to be.

The team that works at SUP COPA is trained and specialized, and gives you a course on how to practice Stand Up. They help you with the board to enter and exit the sea and give you instructions to make your experience complete. 

The experience costs a symbolic price compared to the pleasure it gives you. The last time I did this Stand Up, I could see a huge turtle near my board ! The turtle came quietly, and swam little by little deeper, until I lost sight of it. Turtles live here, and if you see one, it's a sign of good luck, because the legend says that turtles open the way to peace!
