After taking all the possible and unimaginable pictures the hunger was felt!
Fortunately going down was much faster than going up!
The person who was doing the ride back to the exit of the trail asked us only R$ 30.00 and pointed us to a restaurant just down the street from Casa São Conrado.
There was only a small door with a simple sign "Pensão da Mineira", the restaurant is very simple and small, but it is really worth it for those who want to save money! We paid R$ 22.00 and ate at will the homemade and very tasty food!
After lunch we wanted to take advantage of the beautiful sunny day to go down to the beach of Barra da Tijuca!
We called a rental car, which only cost us R$22.00 between the restaurant and the beach.
The beach of Barra da Tijuca is 18km long and we stopped at the station nr.2 of the firefighters, which proved to be an excellent choice, because we were able to observe the evolution of the Kite Surfers and an unforgettable sunset!
Barra Beach is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Rio de Janeiro, with dunes and strong waves that draw a shifting horizon with every passing minute.
We ended the day with a skate competition that took place at a place called Praça Duó and it was very fascinating. There are also many bars and restaurants on the waterfront with live music.
Praça Duó is only 800 m from the fire rescue station nr.2 and only 5.3 km from Casa São Conrado.
In addition to the bars on the seafront, there is Olegário Maciel Street, well known and very frequented by Barra's golden youth, which has a whole row of restaurants and bars open night and day from Thursdays and weekends.
In addition to Pedra Bonita, you can hike Pedra da Gávea, which is a more advanced and difficult level and with climbing.
Don't forget to share this itinerary with your loved ones and help us promote tourism in Rio de Janeiro and the surroundings of Casa São Conrado!
